Mr. Auto Glass is Involved in the Local Community

As corporate citizens and local business owners, we have a unique opportunity to give back to families and individuals who benefit from community involvement services in Florida. Thanks to customers like you, Mr. Auto Glass was named “Philanthropic Small Business of the Year” in 2016 by the Suncoast Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. We support several charitable organizations, including Suncoast Primate Sanctuary and Quantum Leap Farm .

Volunteer Event with Suncoast Primate Sanctuary

The Mr. Auto Glass team participated in a volunteer event where the whole company helped with the animals at the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary. We had a great time and the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary team was truly grateful for our help.

Our Partnership with Quantum Leap Farm

Mr. Auto Glass Florida proudly supports Quantum Leap Farm, a 20-acre equine center located 40 minutes from downtown Tampa. Since 2000, this local nonprofit has offered free equine-assisted therapies to children, veterans, adults and seniors who live with physical and mental disabilities. Thanks to volunteers and generous donors, Quantum Leap Farm has helped more than 1,500 Americans with special needs.

Quantum Leap Farm offers equine-assisted therapy to people of all ages and from all backgrounds. In addition to assisting veterans and military families, this organization serves individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and many other chronic diseases and disabilities.

Our Commitment to Community Involvement Florida

Through the partnership, Mr. Auto Glass contributes more than $20,000 annually to this cause. For each windshield replacement, Mr. Auto Glass donates up to $100 to Quantum Leap Farm depending on the cost. By supporting our business, you are providing valuable therapies to active service members, veterans and their families. Here are a few of the programs that you support.

  • Quantum Leap Farm hosts fun days for military families several times a year. These free events include pony rides, pony paintings, outdoor games, arts and crafts activities, picnic lunches and meet-and-greet sessions with the farm’s horses, goats and chickens.
  • Warrior Mission: At Ease is a cornerstone at the farm. These five-day therapeutic retreats are offered to active-duty service members and military veterans who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), chronic pain and service-related injuries.
  • Women of Warriors retreats provide a sanctuary for hard-working military moms, wives and daughters who share a common experience. These women are caregivers for veterans who are overcoming PTSD, traumatic brain injuries and service-related disabilities.
  • Additional equine-assisted therapy programs for military veterans are made possible by the Wounded Warrior Project and the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Family Care Coalition.
